Write a 1000-word short story about the magic of the warrior & the assassinators using one of the prompts below or combine them into your story.

• Black magic and the Assassins.
• Power of invisibility.
• Magic of the warrior vs the Assassins.
• The Assasins and the missing dead bodies.
• Ghost of the black magician.
• The assassination of the Assassins.

The total prize fund for this contest is £100 and it will be divided into two equal parts. The grand prize for the winning entry will be £50 and the remaining £50 shall be distributed among other approved entries.

Top prize: £50 + 500 bonus points.
Second prize: 250 bonus points and a share of £50.
Third prize: 150 bonus points and a share of £50.
Every other approved entry will get 50 bonus points and a share of £50.

Deadline: All entries must be submitted by July 30th, 2021.

Terms:

• The contest has a strict limit of 1000 words excluding the prologue.
• The prologue must be strictly 70 to 100 words.
• In order for your story to be classified as an entry into this contest, you must use the category: competition, when submitting your entry.
• All entries must be submitted in the free story section. Contests cannot be submitted as paid stories.
• Writers can submit as many entries as possible but there can only be one winner.
• Each entry must be submitted with a clear cover image.
• You must have a valid profile photo of yourself before you can submit a story on penpee.com. Stories submitted without the writer’s valid profile photo will be removed.
• You may not edit your entry after it has been approved by the admin, otherwise, the entry becomes invalidated automatically.

• All entries will be live once the contest has ended.
• Penpee does not allow multiple accounts per user. Failure to abide by this condition means your account can be suspended without prior notice and you may be banned from using our website again.
• Plagiarism is not allowed anywhere on our site. Failure to comply will result in an automatic ban from ever using our site.
• Your entry must be submitted not later than the 30th of July 2021.
• £50 cash prize will be credited to the winner’s account. This will display in “Account Balance, Under Review” in their dashboard.
• £50 will be distributed equally among other entries.
• Earnings are under review for a period of three months before they automatically move into the cleared section. You can only request to withdraw cleared funds. The reason for this is to prevent content theft and deter sharing of plagiarised content on our platform.
• The contest may be withdrawn if enough entries are not submitted by the closing date or for other reasons.
• An entry can be withdrawn by the writer before the contest is closed but no entry may be withdrawn after the contest has closed.
• No employee of Penpee may participate in this competition.
