SHORT STORY
Prologue

When Ronald first arrived in the rat colony, the other rats’ heads tilted quizzically as they watched him perform a jaunty dance and whistle a strange tune. Confused by his eccentric behaviour, they ran away from him. But, night after night, Ronald continued to entertain them with his oddball antics until one day curiosity got the better of them, and they decided to give him a chance to prove himself.
