Charlie And The Heart Of Light
Charlie hummed an unfamiliar tune as he trudged up the stairs, shuffling his way to the bathroom. He turned on the tap and splashed cold water onto his face before brushing his teeth with vigour. Once he was dressed in his usual school uniform, he crossed the hallway and descended the stairs into the kitchen. The scent of freshly made ham and cheese sandwiches wafted through the air, and a brown paper bag sat atop the counter, complete with an apple and a carton of orange juice.
