PROLOGUE
My Dear Ruth is a short story by Oritsemeyiwa Mode at Penpee.com. This is the prologue.
Here today but gone by tomorrow. The mystery of time. An hour, a day, weeks gone by that we know everything about; become fleeting as the dry wind when it is harmattan. Good or evil it blows on us all; and from whence we came, onto dust we shall return. Where darkness prevails shine bright and beautiful, let your light shine through. For my eyes will never forget you, my dear Ruth.
