PROLOGUE
You’re fourteen years old, it’s a Wednesday, and you’ve skipped school to watch your favourite writer on TV.
Most girls your age- you know- wouldn’t skip school to do that. You’re not like them, though. And not in the painfully-obvious, matte-black-lipstick, too-cool-for-this-dump way either. You’re just plain old weird.
OK, you haven’t skipped school. Not really. As far as they know, your mum came to pick you up because you had an upset stomach. Which you do get, for real,  quite often. And even if they guess you’re not being totally truthful, they won’t question it. They wouldn’t dare.
LADY WRITER (PART 1) is a short story at Penpee.com

It has a impressive start which makes you want to read more.
Anticipating for part ii
I enjoyed this story! I believe it captures the plight of the young, misunderstood Creative very well. It has a hopeful tone and isn’t pretentious or too full of itself. And the reveal at the end – wonderful! Well done.
This story captures the story of a young child nicely making it fun and enjoyable to read.
I give this 4 stars
