Ever since I was a child I’ve collected stickers. Never wanted to put them anywhere for fear they’d be used and therefore useless. I’d keep them on their shiny sheets, still in cellophane, in a box. When the Covid vaccines began I saw folk would get a sticker and I felt that bubble of excitement I felt as a child. A sticker. A rare one too. This isn’t some seaside gift shop sheet of unicorn shinies. This is a one of a kind. Perhaps I’d have had the vaccine anyway but… the sticker is the thing for me.
