PROLOGUE
It was just another Friday night at Javier’s Best Stop convenience store. Miguel, the owner’s nephew, was working behind the counter, just like every other Friday. All of Miguel’s Friday Night Regulars were in attendance: the beautiful Rosa, the (very) pregnant Mrs. Ortiz, and even the eccentric Mister Cullinane. What Miguel didn’t know, however, was that tonight something was different. Tonight, one of his customers will reveal a secret that will change his world and his life forever.
