Prologue
“Good morning Doctor,” Laila interjected.
“Ha! Mrs. Laila. I am sorry I didn’t see you seated there. How are you and the family?”
Laila replied, “They are fine, doctor. Thank you for asking.”
He nodded and continued with the check-up. They waited patiently as he listened to the nurse give a status report. By the time she was done, he didn’t look happy. Neither was Laila.
Omoshola understood. It was inevitable and maybe God was finally meting out his punishment for all her wrongdoings. There was a time He meant everything. Back when her mother was alive and she on cloud nine.

Great job done. I like the flow of words in describing the friends’ situation and how Moremi gets to be God’s rainbow. Kudos.
