In 1612, during the Pendle Hill witch trials Alice Nutter a wealthy woman was killed at Gallows Hill for no other reason than being a single woman.
The evidence that was used came from a nine-year-old child who was in fear that her family would be killed if she did not obey the orders.
400 years later it seems that although Alice died something else lived one. But what exactly?
