Death’s new Pet
Death’s new Pet is a short story by Holly Guy
Prologue
I don’t want a new, human pet. Far from it.
I want to be left alone to sulk in the miserable depths of my prison, spending eternity wallowing in self pity. My father will not let me be. He feels guilty for condemning me to Hell and tries to make up for it by sending me human gifts, to keep me company. Since the dawn of time, I created deadly trials for each human pet. No one has ever made it to trial two.
Until this delusional little blonde woman shows up.
