A Metallurgist by profession , I’ve spent the best part of my professional life working as an engineer associated with the Metallutgical industries that included iron and steel, aluminium. copper and brass in the primary and secondary melting and refining units of production. Raised in the cities of  Jamshedpur and Asansol in India , I now reside in Kolkata.  I am an avid reader of world literature and of Rabindranath Tagore , the Nobel laureate in Literature from India . In the course of my professional work I’ve had the opportunity of travelling to most parts of Asia, the Oceania and Europe and my experiences there inspired me to write short stories and novellas .
