Write a 400-word short story to bring awareness to the epidemic of Coronavirus for a chance to win £50.
This contest will run until 10th of March 2020.
Eligibility
You must have read the winning entry to the Confession short story contest before submitting an entry into this contest.
Entries into this writing challenge are open to all registered members of penpee.com irrespective of your age, background or where you reside in the world. Both Free and Premium members.
The winner’s account will be credited with a bonus of £50 by 30th of March 2020.
Terms:
- The contest has a strict limit of 400 words excluding the prologue.
- The prologue must be strictly 50 to 80 words.
- In order for your story to be classified as an entry into this contest, you must use the category: competition, when submitting your entry.
- All entries must be submitted in the free story section. Contests cannot be submitted as paid stories.
- Writers can submit as many entries as possible but there can only be one winner.
- Each entry must be submitted with a clear cover image.
- You must have a valid profile photo of yourself before you can submit a story on penpee.com. Stories submitted without the writer’s valid profile photo will be removed.
- Penpee does not allow multiple accounts per user. Failure to abide by this condition means your account can be suspended without prior notice and you may be banned from using our website again.
- Plagiarism is not allowed anywhere on our site. Failure to comply will result in automatic ban from ever using our site.
- Your entry must be submitted in time to be approved by 10PM GMT on 10th of March 2020. In order to meet this deadline, Free members must submit their entries at least 72hrs before the deadline and Premium members must submit their entries at least 3hrs before the approval deadline.
- £50 cash prize will be credited to the winner’s account. This will display in “Account Balance, Under Review” in their dashboard.
- The contest may be withdrawn if enough entries are not submitted by the closing date.
- No employee of penpee may participate in this competition.
