There she was, sitting on her bed staring intensely into perfectly blue eyes, blue eyes that regarded her just the same. She’d been crushing on Leo since first year and now his here saying that he just wanted to see her. He actually felt the same way? She was ecstatic, but still couldn’t help this uncanny feeling settling deep in her stomach.Her room was gloomy as the moon was the only source of light.He edged closer to the bed, taking careful steps, like a predator that wouldn’t want to scare off its prey. When his knees hit the edge of the bed, she nervously drew the quilt closer to her body.He moves around the bed to her side, smiling down at her mischievously. She stares up at him, clutching tightly to the quilt, feeling warm all over.This is it, she thought. A proximity with the boy she been totally into. He advanced closer towards her and draws her chin upwards with his forefinger. His expression changed from that of mischief to concern, and then he kissed her, ardently. Instinctively, she wrapped her arms around his neck, pulling him closer and kissing back with the same hunger. It was when she felt his fangs pierce to her skin did she know that their shared hunger wasn't mutual. His long nails buried deep into her ribs. She screamed, wrenching fiercely. She felt like she being eaten up, which seemingly is the case. She felt blood gushing out, pain shooting at every part of her body.Renee was still screaming when she felt someone shaking her, trying to pull her out. Suddenly, she jerked off the bed and landed on the floor, sobbing.It was just a dream. Just a dream. She reiterates as she felt arms encircle her, soothing her.
