Legend says that He goes around on Valentine’s Day, preying on the most gorgeous girls.
“It’s a wonderful day.” he stated, gracefully sitting on a bench, and shielding behind dark shades.
“Indeed.” she agreed, looking at him, and truly seeing him for the first time since the date had started.
The air ruffled his blonde curls, making him blush. She pulled the scarf closer to her chin, shivering in the cold December breeze.
“I have a surprise for you.” he said. His voice was mellow and deep.
“Oh?”
“Close your eyes.” He ordered, and she obeyed.
She felt his hands put the glasses on her face.
“Open.” He whispered in a laboured breath.
His face was no longer there, only two bottomless pits and a grin were left.
“Such pretty eyes.” He moaned.
The skin around his eyes was burning. And so was hers.
“Thank you.” She said. “I have a gift, too.”
Legend says that She goes around on Valentine’s Day, preying on the most handsome men.
Swiftly, she removed a stiletto from her hair, which was now dancing in the wind.
Her scarf had gotten loose too, revealing a livid, jagged scar. His neck felt cold and itchy.
“Sing me a song.” Her hoarse voice asked.
Only a pair of cracked sunglasses and blooded scarf were ever found.
Legend says that the two lovers will wander in eternity, forever blind and voiceless.
