In no more than 2000 words, make a short story of your personal experience of an act of kindness.

How the + contests work

Every contests with the (+) sign behind the cash prize simply means that the cash prize will increase by 5% of the current prize pot whenever a new person submits an entry into the contest. In this instance, the starting prize pot of £50 will be activated when the first entry is submitted by a unique person and the prize will increase by £2.50, i.e 5% of £50 to a total of £52.50 when another person submits an entry. The next unique entry will increase the prize pot by £2.63 to a total of £55.125 and so on.

Your story can be in any genre – Adult, Romance, Thriller,fan fiction, Horror e.t.c

Entries to this contest will close by midnight 12am GMT on 30th June 2017 and winner will be announced on or before 30th of July 2017.

Note that unlike all other short stories on penpee.com, whereby  you earn credits which  can be converted to cash each time someone new read a chapter of your story, all entries into our competition category are available to read for FREE on penpee.com and no convertible credits will be issued. Only the winning entry will get the cash prize. See useful tips below to understand how we will select a winner.

Terms:

• Entries are open to only registered writers on penpee.com. (Basic  writer membership is FREE)
• You need to have earned a badge to participate in this contest
• We will take away one of your badges when your entry to the contest has been approved by us.
• You will not loose more than the total number of badges required to enter a contest irrespective of the total number of entries you submitted into the contest.
• This contest is open to everyone irrespective of your age, background or where you reside in the world.
• Writers can submit as many entries as possible but there can only be one winner.
• Each entry must be submitted with a clear cover image.
• Penpee does not allow multiple accounts per user. Failure to abide by this condition means your account can be suspended without prior notice and you may be banned from using our website again.
• Plagiarism is not allowed anywhere on our site. Failure to comply will result in automatic ban from ever using our site.
• Your entry must be submitted before midnight 30th of June 2017.
• Winner will be contacted via email.
• The cash prize must be claimed within 48 hours of announcement.
• No employee of penpee may participate in this competition.
